TASTING NOTES: This is a fantastic cigar. We get the creamy, comfort smooth blend that we all look for from a Trinidad, but this comes in a 54 ring and Petit Robusto package, which makes this cigar a little bit nervy. The result is one of the best Trinidad smokes! When production of the famous Robusto T and Robusto Extra was stopped, the brand was doomed to disappear but Habanos finally decided otherwise. The iconic Trinidad brand, created at the end of the 20th century, today offers us Vigia, a small cigar with a plump girth and pleasant character. Enclosed in a Claro wrapper, the filler provides raw notes of chocolate and toasted walnuts. The cigar draws easily and the puffs are generous. The nutty notes swirled in hints of cream are perfectly in line with the aromatic range of the brand. The woodiness permeates sparingly. There is no bitterness to disturb the smoking of this Petit Robusto. This is a highly successful resurrection of this legendary brand.
