Description

The name Kawama is based on the Caguama turtle, a symbol historically regarded by local tribes as the mother of mankind. This Cuban rum Kawama honors the heritage and symbolic meaning of the Caribbean turtle and delights connoisseurs worldwide with its unique spirit.

Kawama 19 Extra Anejo is a high-quality Cuban rum known for its exceptionally long ageing period of almost two decades. Produced by the Ronera Cardenas company and distilled by the experienced maestro ronero Cesar Augusto Marti Marcelo, this rum is made from molasses using continuous distillation in a column still. The many years of ageing in American white oak barrels in Cuba’s tropical climate contribute to the complexity and depth of flavor.
