This world renowned cigar is being made since 1871 and reintroduced in 1978 by Carl Upmann. The man in charge of cigar making was Julio Eiroa, father of Christian Eiroa who became the owner of Camacho cigars, maker of Baccarat. Today, Baccarat cigars are made by Davidoff of Geneva at the old Camacho factory.
Davidoff acquired Camacho a couple of years ago and they’re making Baccarat cigars better than ever. Baccarat cigars are made in Honduras from a mix of unique tobacco leaves, creating a fantastic blend. The valley of Ranchos Jamastran is located in Danli, it is famous for growing tobacco as it has perfect soil and climate conditions. The Baccarat sports a Jamastran-Habano filler and Dulce Mexican leaf for a binder. Its blend is mild with flavors of Cocoa and Nutmeg followed by a sweet toasted wheat finish. The mild body is produced by blending the Havana seed filler/binder with Connecticut shade wrapper, sweetened by a special sealing technique with Indian gum. Baccarat is different than most Honduran cigars as it is wonderfully mild and easy to the palate. Baccarat cigars are available in many different sizes and box counts, any cigar lover can find a size that suits their palate.
