La Galera Maduro

A spicy cigar by Jose “Jochy” Blanco, La Galera cigars are homage to the rollers that sit in the roller’s room, or “La Galera” in Spanish.  Rolled in Jochy’s Tabacalera Palma factory, the very factory that launched brands like Aging Room and La Flor Dominicana, La Galera Maduro is a wonderfully balanced and pleasantly spicy take on Jochy’s signature line, and a wonderful addition to his portfolio. Medium to full bodied by nature, the Maduro gets its name from the Maduro San Andres wrapper that holds the Dominican Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano tobaccos. The blend of tobaccos produces a powerful and aromatic smoke, with notes of toasted cedar and cocoa, and a heavy pepper that is adds to the allure of this amazing smoke.Incredibly well-constructed, the La Galera Maduro offers a slow and savory burn whose taste, and choice of premium Dominican tobaccos, belies its surprisingly low cost. More than 3 generations in the making, La Galera Maduro is a welcome addition to the world of Medium to full bodied Premium Cigars.
