Rocky Patel Number 6

Lucky Number 6, was Rocky’s big winner for Rocky Patel Number 6 cigars. It was the sixth cigar he smoked when selecting the best blend. Interestingly enough Rocky Patel Number 6 cigars are not like anything Rocky has done before, it has a lot of sweetness. A medium bodied cigar blended with fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. The cigar is wrapped in a Honduran-grown Corojo wrapper that’s hand made at Rocky’s El Paraiso factory right in Honduras.
When creating a new blend for a cigar; blenders make numerous variations with little tweaks in them. They may remove a full leaf of Nicaraguan tobacco or add a half leaf of Dominican tobacco. Once all the different variations are created, they label the cigars with numbers, making this the only identifying thing for the cigar. Once the “test” cigars are blended and labeled. Then comes the tedious job of having to smoke all the blends. Looking for the best or blend that is closest, to what the cigar maker is trying to achieve in strength and in flavor.
Sometimes cigar makers can tell on the first puff if a blend is good or bad. Sometimes they need a little more time and smokes through the whole cigar to make sure its delivers from start to finish. When Rocky was making this line of cigars once he tasted that Number 6 cigar he know he had something special, something that he has never done before and something new he knew he could bring to fans.
