Ted's Cigars
Cigars are built around the same special blend, with unique wrappers selected for each release. The blend was created by Ted, choosing a blend of Brazilian, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos to provide what he found the most enjoyable experience. Despite his years of success, Ted still makes reglar visits to the Victor Sinclair factory in the Dominican Republic to personally oversee the production of the cigar, ensuring his high standards in production is maintained.
Built around is infused creations, Ted’s Cigars distributes a variety of licensed infused cigars with popular spirit companies such as Grand Marnier, Samuel Adams, Forty Creek, and Patrón.
All of Ted’s Cigars come in hermetically sealed glass tubes, preserving the freshness for extended periods of time. Jackson believes storing it this way is a crucial proponent of the cigar’s constructional integrity because it allows them to be aromatically infused with flavor instead of injected or sprayed.
Ted’s Cigars biggest claim to fame is their Bourbon Cigar. This cigar was commissioned by Maker’s Mark for the Kentucky Derby in 1997. The cigar comes in a glass tube that has been dipped in eye-catching red wax, mimicking the seal Makers Mark use to seal their bottles of bourbon with which it is infused.
Commemorative cigars are a Ted’s Cigars specialty. They’ve done cigars for Duck Dynasty, the Kentucky Derby, and every president since George W. Bush. In the chaotic presidential race of 2016, they released a collection for every candidate that polled over 10 points, including Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio.
Ted’s Cigars blends have been well received throughout the cigar world. A Blind Man’s Puff gave it a 90 rating on their Made By Hand blend. Cigar Aficionado only has excellent ratings for Ted’s Cigars. The down-to-earth vibe is essential to the character of Ted’s Cigars. The minimalistic yet chic packaging speaks to the classy simplicity of Ted’s Cigars.
