CAO Pilon is a very special CAO using an old method of fermentation that dates back to the 19th century in Cuba where it originated. They do this Pilon method by taking ?hands:? of tobacco leaves and placing them on top of each other where the leaves are left basically in a huge pile where they ferment. Heat builds up in the center of the batch of the leaves and spreads through this is a very time consuming process that gives the leaves a very rich and deep flavor though out the tobacco.
