DESCRIPTION: This new cigar from Habanos, S.A. was presented on 20 October 2022 during a festive evening at one of the most symbolic places in Paris, the Hôtel de La Marine on the central Place de la Concorde. The new vitola is called Quai D’Orsay No. 52 and has a ring gauge of 52 with a length of 156 mm. The presentation took place not far from the famous Avenue Quai D’Orsay in Paris, which gave the brand its name. Habanos has managed to breathe new life into a brand that was originally only really known in France. Numerous new formats have been launched over the last few years, making this brand more and more sought after worldwide – the No.52 is now the latest addition to this brand.
New Quai d’Orsay No. 52 is not only the fourth item in the brand’s portfolio, but also a completely new Vitola. The 52 is produced in the Lanzas format and measures 156 mm and 52 in the ring. The packaging method will also be maintained for this cigar, i.e. cedar packaging for 10 and 25 cigars.
The new cigar is characterized by a balanced and delicate taste typical of the brand. Habanos SA recommends pairing with champagne, light coffee or a delicate, slightly sparkling cocktail.
The Quai d’Orsay brand is known and liked all over the world. It also has a large audience in our country. French style and elegance go well with the light power of the tobacco blend from Vuelta Abajo. The brand was established in 1973 and today it is the only brand in the Habanos SA portfolio with a non-Spanish name.
